Photography has been a huge part of my life ever since I would mess around with my dads camera when I was a child. My father and his brother always had really nice cameras and I would love to listen to them talk camera specs and lens details even though I did not really know what everything meant.

My passion for photography as an art form really started the first time I was lucky enough to go on Safari with my family in South Africa. The first time we came across a herd of African Elephants they were in a thicket and I could only see the trunk of a adolesent elephant tearing up grass. Using my dads Cannon Rebel Xt I managed to grab the image below...

I remember thinking at the time this was the best photo I had ever taken only to realise my focus was off and the image was out of focus.

This photo even though its out of focus is the photo that would catapult my love of photography from mere interest into a complete and utter passion.

I have been lucky to go to many beautiful parts of the world and have been able to take images that hopefully make people feel as if they were there with me. From Colorado to Capetown, from landscapes to sports, my photography represents places and passions that make me who I am and I invite you into my world and my passion.
